I just started doing the Facebook thing. I'm still a newbie, but already it makes me wonder if I will continue blogging. It seems like Facebook is kind of taking over the whole blog thing. It may be too much work to do both. What do you think? Are you on facebook? Do you also blog? Do you plan to continue with both? Why or why not?

Okay jeffy, I do both. I won't give up blogging because;
one- not everyone is on facebook
two- on you blog you can give more detail about you and your family. Not so much on facebook.
three- blogging is more like journaling and on facebook it's more like chatting with friends.
Anyway those are my reasons. I like both and both serve different outlets for me.

Well I was thinking of starting a blog and have been an avid facebooker for over a year.
I still do both. Facebook owns any content you publish there, and that bugs me. I think of FB as a blogger's junk drawer. I like the blog concept better. The best thing about the blog is the amount of control you have over it. You can send your blog to certain companies and they'll print it up in a book for you. Insta-journal.
